Terms & Conditions

   Please read the following terms & conditions before confirming an order with us.

  • All orders are only confirmed once payment has been made and we have confirmed receipt.

  • For all orders, a 50% deposit must be made upfront in order to secure your booking, the remaining amount is to be paid 1 week before collection or delivery. Failure to do so will mean your order is not confirmed and any money that has already been paid will not be refunded.

  • Cancellation of an order less than 48 hours before collection or delivery will result in any money that has already been paid not being refunded, as ingredients and decorations have already been bought.

  • We are not responsible for any damage or significant change to any product once it has left our property or once delivery has been accepted.

  • Please make any allergies or dietary requirements clear at the time of enquiry. We are not responsible for any reactions, or appropriate labelling of any product or ingredient used
    containing allergens. We try our best to keep our ingredients and equipment free of allergens that we are made aware of but we cannot promise they will be 100% free of them and cannot be held responsible if they are not.

  • Collection times are agreed at our discretion at the time of booking. You must confirm prior to collection when you will be arriving.

  • If you are unhappy with a product, please send us detailed reasons why along with any evidence and we will discuss the possibility of a refund or replacement if we think that any damage was within our control or not up to our usual standards. We are not obligated to offer a refund or replacement if the product was okay when it left us, it was improperly stored by the customer or transported or damaged by the customer or anyone in contact with the product not from our company.

  • If you wish to make changes to an order, the product, or the date required, you must do so ideally 1 week before collection or delivery, up to 48 hours before and we will do our best to accommodate these. If the date needs to be changed to a date we are not available, and we cannot find an agreeable date, any deposit paid will be refunded, if this change is made more than 1 week before the original date booked for a big cake or where extra decoration or items are needed, and any money paid will be refunded for any other product if it is more than 48 hours before 10am on the day of collection.

  • Any product, once received needs to be kept out of sunlight and in a cool place, ideally in the fridge. Products should be taken out of the fridge 30 mins to 1 hour before consumption, weather dependant. This is only guidance and we are not responsible directly for any changes to a product. Special care needs to be taken in hot weather and during transportation of a product when it has been collected. Cakes should be held by an adult in the car or placed in the footwell or boot flat. We're not responsible for any damage occurring during transportation.

  • If you send us a picture of a cake that you would like, please be specific about what in the picture exactly you would like us to provide, as we may have to outsource some additional items. If you would like additional items on a cake that are not edible please specify this at the time of enquiry to allow us time to properly quote and source anything else you would like. These items obviously are not priced by ourselves so this will add to your cake cost, but you are more than welcome to source them yourself and bring them to us to place on your cake.

  • Once a product has been completed, it is too late for any changes to be made and if you have changed your mind after this point, no money will be refunded or details will be changed as all details and design choices are finalised at the point of full payment. If something has been outsourced and paid for which is no longer wanted for the cake, for non-edible items; so long as returns are accepted, we will return it and deduct the price of the item from the cake, or substitute it for something of the same price. For edible items; if they are pre-packaged items we will return them and deduct the price of the item from the cake, or substitute it for something of the same price, or for bespoke items that cannot be returned, you will still be charged and we can hand the item to you separately in addition to your cake if we feel we cannot use it elsewhere, if so we would deduct the price of this from the price of the cake.

  • No pictures will be sent either during or after the cake has been made, as no details about the cake can be changed after this point and this is purely to avoid requests for changes to be made.

  • Any refunds due to customer cancellations will be minus our Square fee which is 1.4% + 25p, or minus 50% deposit if products and ingredients have been purchased. This will also take up to 14 days to reach your account. Any cancellations due to us will be made in full but will need to be made via bank transfer or cash within 5 working days.
